Help Your Child Build Confidence and Real Basketball Skills

Turn school break into a season of growth and skill-building.

Parents should immediately feel “this program is for my kid.”

Is Your Child…

✔ Starting to take basketball seriously?

✔ Playing games but not improving skills?

✔ Losing confidence during games?

✔ Wanting to get better but not sure how?

Future Stars helps players build the skills and confidence serious players need.

Give your child the gift of confidence, skills, and joy.

Founded by Slick Watts, Seattle Supersonics legend, and carried forward by his son Donald Watts Jr., a UW basketball icon, Watts Basketball is more than a training program—it’s a legacy of excellence.

We’re offering FREE trial classes for kids with basketball dreams

At Watts Basketball, we teach more than drills. We teach confidence, resilience, and the mindset of a true hooper—skills your child will carry for life.

most youth basketball focuses on games

But games don’t build skills.

Future Stars focuses on the part most players are missing:

Fundamentals.

When players build the right foundation early, their confidence and performance grow faster.

What Sets Watts Basketball Apart?

At Watts Basketball, we firmly believe that when a child embraces this process, they unlock one of the most valuable tools for their future. It’s about instilling a love for learning and a relentless pursuit of personal excellence.

COMMITMENT TO GROWTH

We believe that the journey to success begins with a commitment. We inspire our athletes to make a vow to themselves – a promise to strive for continual improvement. This foundational step sets the tone for their entire learning experience.

Whether it’s a challenging drill, a new assignment, or an unfamiliar activity, we encourage our kids to give their best effort. Effort is the key ingredient in any development process, and we ensure our young athletes understand the importance of giving their all, every single time.

After putting in their best effort, we teach kids to take a step back and honestly assess their performance. This is not about judgement or embarrassment. It’s about recognizing their progress and identifying areas for growth with an open mind and a positive attitude.

The final step involves planning for improvement. We guide our athletes in creating actionable plans that map out their development. This cycle of planning and reflection becomes a habit, ingraining the mindset of continuous growth and lifelong learning.
