Hello there. This is Coach Donald Watts. Owner and elite trainer at Watts Basketball, bringing you the best basketball training in Seattle.

Welcome to your game plan.

You’re probably here because you’re looking for a basketball personal trainer, wanting to try out basketball lessons for beginners or want to improve your game further.

Well, you came to the right place.

Now, you may be wondering who I am and why I offer basketball training for people like you.

Let’s start by answering that question.

Donald Watts Greatest Why

I was Gatorade State Player of the Year.

I went on to play collegiately at the University of Washington, where I led my team in the two consecutive NCAA tournaments.

I am the son of former NBA legend Donald “Slick” Watts.

Because of these, I had the opportunity to grow up around the all-time greats and afford me opportunities to trade with the likes of Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, and I learned valuable secrets from these people.

I learned so much about developing not only your game but also how improving your game and pouring your heart into your craft can grow you as a person and then how those skills translate to life.

I believe that the best way to become a better basketball player is to develop habits and routines around a basketball strategy and not just doing arbitrary drills that you’ve seen somebody else do to become successful.

The real goal is to understand how to determine and evaluate your strengths and weaknesses; what tools exactly you will need to be successful.

I’m super excited to train and connect with players that have big-time goals and aspirations, whether they’re a high school player, a good high school player that’s trying to transition to a great high school player and earn an opportunity to play college basketball or a competitive elite middle school player who’s preparing for high school.

I’m excited to take what I’ve learned in my experience and impart that, and not only is it something like that I’ve learned it’s a process that I’ve done.
